Since coming to BLA my son George has accelerated in his development as a baseball player. The facility is perfect for baseball and the FitLife area is super. The Staff is the most experienced group of baseball people in the tri-state area, who are always willing to help. I would highly recommend BLA for anyone that wants to really learn the game while getting in great physical condition.'

The Academy has been a wonderful resource for our son. His love for the game is shared by the staff and other players and the level of instruction is phenomenal. The Academy takes an interest in the whole player and emphasizes the big picture and healthy mindset for players at all levels of the game.

I truly love going every Saturday and Monday. I love it so much that I got a group of us together and set another workout for Wednesday. I also go every Friday. The Academy coaches and staff are really fun and easy to work with. FitLife training is awesome because it helps you in other sports and your overall speed and agility.

My daughter Amanda has been working with Jeff Huggins since Sept 2004. Less than one year after starting training with Jeff she was on a travel team and has played travel ball every year since then as well as Varsity Middle school ball each year she was eligible. Jeff has a great knowledge of the sport and the ability to transfer that to his students, but just as important is his ability to motivate and teach the mental aspect of the game. While Amanda did the actual work Jeff provided her all the tools she needed to become much stronger softball player then she would have with normal coaching.

I don’t know if my dad told you but I made JV which I was excited about! We had our first 2 games this week. I was starting pitcher in both. We won yesterday and loss today but both days I felt I did well. Yesterday I only had one at bat and just hit a grounder. Today I hit a lot better. I had a line drive over the first baseman’s head and a walk. Thanks for all the help you’ve given me.
My daughter has been training at Big Leagues Academy for three years. Not only has it helped her in her hitting techniques, but also understanding the swing and increased confidence about her game. This instruction proved to be the difference when Catherine made the Varsity team as a sophomore for Mount Saint Joseph Academy

I just wanted to add my vocal support for the tremendous job that Jeff (Huggins)does in coaching my daughter in the sport of girls softball. He has a very nice way about him and makes the hitting instruction a positive and upbeat experience each time my daughter Kara attends a coaching session. He is approachable, warm, knowledgeable, and knows the mechanics of the swing. The drills are particularly helpful to continually improve her swing as well and more importantly he does a great job communicating one on one to the student and parent.

I have had the privilege of working with Big Leagues over the course of the past 4 years. Big Leagues has not only instructed coaches and players at the Little League level but has worked with my AAU U14 travel team.
Big Leagues Instructors are very patient and take a very simplistic approach to the game. They take the time to visualize the struggles a player may be having before instructing him instead of approaching every player as the same.
Their work with our coaching staff has been equally important.

Just wanted to let you know Andrew made the team at ND. I want to thank you for the last 4 years of great coaching. There is no way Andrew would have this opportunity if he did not meet you 4 years ago. I spoke with the freshman coach last night and he told me Andrew worked hard and has the hustle factor in the outfield. He separated himself at the plate. He said Andrew always hit the ball hard even when it was hit to a fielder for an out. They evaluated his fundamentals pretty hard and Andrew stood out with his swing and confidence at the plate. I could not be happier tonight Meade as you can probably understand all to well. This is a great opportunity for Andrew and I want to thank you again for the great coaching that enabled him to be in this position. This kid was cut 2x at Charles Boehm in 7th and 8th grade. Last year he was the last kid cut and it really hit him hard. Today it was all worth it to him.

I just wanted to thank you for an excellent 8 weeks at The Big Leagues. You and your entire staff were great with the boys, and taught them (my coaches and me) some of the finer points of the game. The other parents were equally impressed. I especially liked the way you took the time to explain what you were teaching, and why it is important. And the kids were really listening to you. There is a big difference between somebody's dad telling you how it is done, and hearing it from a Big Leaguer!
I know our team will be back next year, and I have already talked to you about some one-on-one hitting sessions with my son throughout this season. Thanks again for everything. See you soon.

I have thrown & attended many birthday parties, and this was the BEST ever! Every child (& parent) felt that they recieved individual care & attention. Everyone (even ME - the mom) enjoyed the party. I really appreciate all you did for us and each child at Zach's party! We wish you much success in the future.

Thank you so much for one of the best birthday parties ever. And that's from the mouths of the kids that were there. It was everything that we wanted, right down to the hot dogs and cracker jacks. The kids had a ball. I had more parents ask me how we found out about it. I am spreading the word all through Solebury about what a great place you have. Thank you again for making my twins 8th birthday one they will never forget.

I just wanted to drop you a quick line & "Thank You" for all that you have done for Steven. As a junior in High School, he batted 9th and hit around .120. His confidence was at a low point, his mechanics were off, his spirit was low, not one college coach had shown any interest. After spending all winter with you hitting, as a senior he became the leadoff hitter, batting .370, confident in his abilities, college coaches calling him, leading his team to a district playoff win, a dramatic change. His spirit was back. His team went from 7-14 to 14-7 with the exact same players; I attribute a good deal of the team's success to Steve's dramatic improvement. You corrected the flaws in his swing, but more importantly, taught him to know his own swing. You instilled confidence in him. I know that my son values your friendship as much as he values your teaching abilities. You helped change Stevens' life in a very positive way; he is now living his dream of playing college baseball. For all of your help, I just wanted to take the time to say thank you.
